The protected regions defined in the footprint analysis were used to define the Zur consensus sequence. WebLogo was used to obtain a consensus sequence logo in which the height of individual letters within a stack of letters represents the relative frequency of that letter at a given position, and the overall height of the stack represents the degree of conservation at that position (http://weblogo.berkeley.edu/).
