Effect of siamycin I on biofilm formation by E. faecalis OG1RF. Assays were performed by using tryptic soy broth supplemented with 0.25% glucose containing different concentrations of siamycin I and flat-bottom 96-well polystyrene microtiter plates. After 24 h of incubation at 37°C, biofilm formation was quantified by determining the OD₅₇₀ of a crystal violet-stained biofilm. Each assay was performed in quadruplicate on two occasions; the bars indicate means, and the error bars indicate standard errors.
