In panel B, FtsN and FFN were induced with various levels of IPTG, as indicated above the lanes. In all cases, equal cell volumes were loaded and proteins were detected by their C-terminal 3×Myc tags using polyclonal anti C-myc antibody (Sigma). “Suppress” and “Does not suppress” refer to the abilities of the constructs to suppress a FtsK depletion strain at the levels of IPTG indicated above the lanes.
