Neutralizing antibody activities in the plasma samples obtained from immunized monkeys were evaluated by complement-dependent plaque reduction. Plasma samples from each of the four monkeys in groups I and II were assayed at a 1:20 dilution for the ability to reduce the number of plaques compared to that in cells infected with virus alone. The numbers refer to the percentage of plaque reduction at the 1:20 dilution for samples obtained 1 (week 102) and 2 (week 103) weeks after the last DNA immunization at week 101.
