C. glabrata strains are trehalase positive and maltase negative. Sensitivity values for Candida ID, CHROMagar Candida, CandiSelect, and Sabouraud chloramphenicol gentamicin agar were 98, 94, 98, and 98%, respectively; specificity values were 97.8, 98.6, 97.3, and 98.6%, respectively.
