Classification of the novel putative 14-3-3 interactors. The 132 identified proteins from the yeast two-hybrid screen were divided and classified into 13 classes. The 30 proteins identified from the affinity purification were classified into six classes. Signaling-associated proteins were found to be the major class of proteins identified in the yeast two-hybrid screens, whereas metabolism-related proteins were predominantly found in the 14-3-3 affinity purification.
