Anti nucleolar autoantibody (ANolA) pattern in mercury- and silver-injected B10.S (H-2^s), B10.G (H-2^q) and B10.M (H-2^f) mice. Sera collected from mercury- (left panel, b, d and f) and silver-injected (right panel, c, e, g) B10.S (H-2^s)(b-c), B10.G (H-2^q) (d,e) and B10.M (H-2^f) (f,g) mice, as described for Fig. 1 were tested for IgG2a ANolA using an indirect immunofluorescence (IIF) method. A serum collected from a saline-injected mouse (a) was used as the negative control. Rat liver sections were used as substrates. Arrows indicate the clumpy nucleolar staining in the responder mice.
