Time-dependent proliferative responses of PBMC from two patients with myocarditis to the FAD-peptide. PBMC were isolated repeatedly from the myocarditis patients m1 and m2 and stimulated with the FAD-peptide. The proliferation response was measured by [³H]-dThd incorporation and the SI calculated. m1, 1: SI of PBMC isolated during the acute phase of the myocarditis; m1, 2, 3 and 4: SI of PBMC isolated 2, 4 and 6 months, respectively, after the recovery of the patient from the acute myocarditis; m2, 1: SI of PBMC isolated during the acute phase of the myocarditis; m2, 2: SI of PBMC isolated 6 months after the recovery of the patient from the acute phase of the myocarditis.
