Quantification of the expression of IDO mRNA by real time PCR

PB CD14+ cells from pregnant women at different weeks of gestation were cultured for 24 h before mRNA isolation. The cells were cultured with CTLA-4Ig or IFN-γMedium control was used as a baseline control for IDO mRNA quantification. The expression of IDO mRNA was divided by the expression of b-actin and this was divided by the baseline expression to calculate the number of times the expression is up-regulted or down-regulated. Four individual experiments are shown.
