The myeloperoxidase (MPO) level in the colon of macrophage migration inhibitory factor (MIF) transgenic (Tg) mice (n = 6) increased at days 3 and 7 after treatment of 1% dextran sulphate sodium (DSS) compared with that of wild-type (WT) mice (n = 6).
