Plots demonstrating the impact of tracking transmit frequency and bandwidth on displacement underestimation (left column) and jitter (right column). The plots in the top row have a fixed transducer center frequency of 7.2 MHz with a fractional bandwidth of 53% and a constant kernel length of 0.35 μs. The center row maintains a fractional bandwidth of 53%, but the transducer center frequency was set to the tracking tracking frequency. The bottom row shows the same configuration as the center row, except the kernel length was fixed at 2.5 cycles instead of a constant 0.35 μs. The CRLB is shown by the dashed line with circles in plots (d) and (f).
