Spontaneous GABA_A IPSCs in CA1 pyramidal neurons were recorded from ISS and ILS mice using CsCl-filled electrodes in the absence or presence of ethanol (80 mm). The results (% change from control) are means ±s.e.m. for the number of neurons recorded (in parentheses). No significant difference was measured between ISS and ILS mice.
