Data were recorded in a darkened laboratory. Changes in blood flow or vascular resistance elicited by 40 (graphic file with name tjp0575-0671-mu1.jpg) and 60 deg (graphic file with name tjp0575-0671-mu2.jpg) tilt were significantly different from those resulting from 20 deg tilt. For points where no symbols are present, no significant differences were present. Error bars indicate one s.e.m.
