Pam₃Cys induces JE and IL-6 production in murine mast cells via NF-κB activation. (a) MLMC or (b) BMMC were pretreated with vehicle or CsA (100 nm; 1 hr), PDTC (100 µm; 1 hr) or Bay 11-7082 (5 µm; 1 hr) and exposed to buffer or Pam₃Cys (1 µg/ml) for 6 h and chemokine/cytokine production was determined by ELISA. Data are expressed as percent stimulated with Pam₃Cys in the absence of inhibitor (% of control). Data shown is mean ± SEM of three experiments performed in triplicate.
