The data were fitted with a sigmoidal (Hill) dose-response curve according to the following equation: % inhibition = xn/(IC50n + xn), where n is the Hill slope and x is the concentration of unguinol. IC50 = 42.3 ± 0.8 μM; Hill slope = 3.4 ± 0.5.
