*The products were resolved and quantified by RP-HPLC as shown in Supplementary Figure S1. The values are averages from experiments with at least three different microsomal preparations. The standard errors were less than 10% of the mean. The product distribution was independent of the LA concentration in the range used for kinetic analysis (1–50 μM).
