Confirmation of MARs by using an in situ MAR assay. Soluble (S) and matrix-associated (M) DNAs were isolated from BamHI plus BglII-digested nuclear halos and were analyzed on a Southern blot that was serially probed with radiolabeled Eδ, BEAD-1, and Dδ1/2 probes.
