The residues that comprise the hydrophobic face of each β strand are shown in grey. Residues that are essential for cleavage (Asp¹¹²⁰ and Asn¹⁰²³) are shown in red and residues that play a secondary role in cleavage (Asp¹⁰⁶⁸, Gly¹⁰⁸⁰, Glu¹¹⁵⁴ and Glu¹¹⁷²) are shown in green.
