A: Western blot relative to Bcl-2 protein expression in two clones of HM cells overexpressing Bcl-2 (HM-Bcl-2.1 and HM-Bcl-2.2) and vector-transfected HM cells (HM-PKneo). Bcl-2 band migrates at ∼30 kd. Forty μg of protein was loaded in each lane. β-actin was used as internal control. B: TRAP assay of HM, HM-PKneo, and HM-bcl-2.2 cell extracts from cultures treated for 96 hours with either vehicle or 0.5 μg/ml of fumagillin. Positive and negative controls were obtained as described in the legend to Figure 7 ▶ .
