Immunoregulatory cytokine production pattern by CD4⁺CD25^high and CD4⁺CD25^low T cells. CD4⁺CD25^high and CD4⁺CD25^low T cells recovered from the spleen of NOD or C57BL/6 mice were stimulated with coated anti-CD3 and soluble anti-CD28 antibodies for 48 or 72 h. Supernatants were harvested and the amount of IL-4, IL-10, and TGF-β secreted by each population was determined ELISA.
