Characterization of human MSC. (A) Isolated MSC were shown to express MSC markers including SH2, SH4, and Stro-1 as determined by FACs analysis. CD34 (hematopoietic stem cell marker) and CD45 (pan-leukocyte marker), considered to be negative mesenchymal markers, were not expressed in MSC. Control cells are also shown (black).
