Transiently expressed Δγ1-FLAG protein preferentially localizes to the TGN area rather than to the cis-Golgi area. NIH3T3 (A and B) or NRK (C) cells were transfected with p3XFLAG-CMV-14-Δγ1 and incubated for 24 hours. Cells were then double labeled with anti-FLAG Ab and an Ab against p115 (A), calnexin (B), or TGN38 (C). The anti-FLAG Ab was stained with Cy2 (green, left) and the other Abs with Cy5 (red, middle). Cy2 and Cy5 images were then merged (right).
