Phylogenetic relationship among the rice F-box proteins. The unrooted tree was generated using ClustalX program by neighbor-joining method. F-box proteins grouped into 11 distinct clades (A–K). The clades A to D, F, and H were further divided into 18 subclades (A1–A3, B1–B4, C1–C2, D1–D3, F1–F2, and H1–H4). The position of F-box proteins with known function from Arabidopsis and other plants used for construction of phylogenetic tree is indicated. A larger version of the tree is available as Supplemental Figure S2.
