B.LDH release over the 30 minutes of reperfusion was IR: 32.3 ± 8.4 U, OIR: 8.0 ± 2.6 U (P<0.05 vs. IR), TIP+IR: 39.0 ± 7.7 U and TIP+OIR: 34.7 ± 6.4 U (P<0.05 vs. OIR). Values are means ± SEM of 5–7 independent experiments for each group.
