The average number of infiltrating OVA-specific T cells in a spinal cord section is given ± SEM. Percentage of apoptotic cells is calculated by taking the average (with SEM) of the percentage of apoptotic cells from three individual animals.
*ND, not determined; the numbers of cells in spinal cord sections of animals in this group were too low to calculate a reliable average percentage of apoptotic cells.
