The time to achieve one decimal reduction has been calculated from D1 = 1.342/k2, using the values of k(min−0.5) from Table 1. Subsequent times are calculated using the fact that the time for n decimal reductions is n2D1.
Values represent the time to reach five decimal reductions with the same values of D1 and assuming that this was then constant (i.e., time = 5D1).
