Biofilm formation of Salmonella serovar Typhimurium UMR1 and isogenic mutants in EAL and GGDEF-EAL domain proteins. Cells were incubated in LB medium without salt at 28°C for 48 h with shaking at 150 rpm. The five mutants that display an altered phenotype compared to wild-type Salmonella serovar Typhimurium UMR1, namely, STM1703 (1703), STM4264 (4264), STM3611 (3611), STM1827 (1827), and STM3375 (3375), are shown.
