Human meibomian gland secretion samples (that is, Q, R, U, V, W, X, and Y) were processed with µHPLC/MS/MS procedures and the resulting ion spectra were filtered with stringent SEQUEST criteria. These parameters, as previously reported,15 yield less than 1% false positives. The proteins are listed with their accession number, the number of peptides that matched, and the samples in which they were identified.
