a = test of composite additive genetic effect.
b = test for composite genetic dominance effect.
* = previously reported in Lindberg et al [11].
The three contrasts tests the following mRNA differences: 1) difference between selected and non-selected farm foxes, 2) difference between off-spring from crossing and back crossing S and NS with the weighted average of the parental S and NS lines, and 3) difference between the average of farmed foxes (S, NS and Cross) and wild red foxes.
