Identification and characterization of an SR-BI-interacting protein (p70). (A) Affinity purification of p70. The rat liver membrane fraction extracted with 2% (vol/vol) Triton X-100 was subjected to a GST (lane 1) or a C45-GST (lane 2) affinity column, and the bound proteins were eluted by the addition of glutathione. The eluates were subjected to SDS/PAGE, followed by silver staining. (B) Amino acid sequence of p70. p70 is a 523-amino acid protein that contains four PDZ domains and no obvious catalytic domain.
