Stimulation of IFN-γ-secreting cells in immunized animals. The number of IFN-γ-secreting cells was determined by the ELISPOT assay. Spleen cells were incubated for 16 h in the presence or the absence of a peptide corresponding to the immunodominant Ld-restricted β-Gal epitope (TPHPARIGL), which is specific for MHC class I presentation.
