M. catarrhalis recovery from lung homogenates obtained from mice intranasally vaccinated with either nCD or rCD coadministered with AdDP. Immunized mice were challenged by the intratracheal route with 5 × 108 CFU of M. catarrhalis. Bacterial clearance was assessed after 4 h by plating serial dilutions of the lung homogenates onto BHI agar plates.
