IFN-γ responses in inbred mouse strains. Groups of four A/J, BALB/c, CBA/H, and C57BL/6 mice were infected with 10³ PFU of ECTV-WT and sacrificed at day 5 p.i. Splenocytes were stimulated in vitro with ECTV-WT-infected syngeneic spleen cells at a ratio of 5:1. At the times indicated, culture supernatants were harvested and IFN-γ levels were determined by ELISA. The data represent means plus standard errors of the mean.
