Tet-FGF-2 and AS-VEGF/Tet-FGF-2 tumors from mice treated with tetracycline or not (five tumors per group) were immunostained with anti-CD31 antibody. Then, quantitative computer-assisted image analysis was performed on digitized images of the indicated numbers of CD31+ tumor blood vessels. The percentage of large caliber vessels (vessel area > 1,000 μm2) was also calculated.
