Anti-migratory actions of hrGal-1 in IL-1β-induced peritonitis. Mice were injected intraperitoneally with IL-1β (5 ng in 0.1 ml of saline) in the absence or presence of different doses of hrGal-1. After 4 hours, peritoneal cavities were washed and PMN migration quantified. Data are reported as percentage of IL-1β response (3 ± 0.9 × 106 PMNs per cavity).
