The influence of methotrexate (MTX) on T cell proliferation. Peripheral blood mononuclear cells were cultured in the presence of tetanus toxoid (circles), Candida albicans (squares) or phytohaemaglutinin (triangles) for 7 days, with or without MTX, at the given concentrations, between days 6 and 7.
