Percentage of conditioned responses (CRs) in mice aged 9 (n = 7) and 12 (n = 7) months over ten 90-paired trial sessions in the 250-msec delay eyeblink classical conditioning procedure as assessed by hand-scoring of CRs. Hand-scored data indicate that mice aged 9 and 12 months acquire CRs at a similar rate. CRs are hand-scored by observing blinking to a 10-kHz tone conditioned stimulus (CS) just before a head twitch response to the 0.5-mA shock unconditioned stimulus (US).
