Tumors were harvested at the indicated intervals. (B) H&E staining of paraffin sections of tumors arising from c-myc−/− ES cells, compared with wild-type ES-cell-derived teratomas. (C) Dying Scid mice injected with wild-type or c-myc−/− ES cells were anesthetized and perfused with latex. The tumors were then resected and processed as described in Materials and Methods. Representative tumors are shown. The lower panels are magnified views showing capillary beds of the respective tumors.
