Western blot analysis of effect of LY294002 (LY), a PI3K pathway inhibitor on phosphorylation of Akt in HDFs. Cells were incubated with LY (40 μM), thrombin (Th, 5 U/ml) or Th + LY at 37°C for 2 h or 6 h, respectively. Densitometry analysis of immunoblots was carried out using a Scion Image software. The relative levels of phospho-Akt were expressed as the ratio to β-actin. The values shown are Mean ± SD for four separate experiments.
