Thy1.1 TDLN CD62Llow, CD4+, or CD8+ subsets were activated for 2 cycles with anti-CD3/IL-2/IL-7 or anti-CD3/IL-7/IL-23 respectively, and were transferred on day 29 to hosts bearing 10-day lung metastases, which were conditioned with 5 Gy TBI before cell transfer.

Lungs were harvested on the indicated days and enzymatically digested, and single cell suspension were analyzed by FACS. The number of Thy1.1+ cells was determined by their percentage of the total number of CD4+ or CD8+ cells.

Spleens were harvested on the indicated days, mechanically disrupted, and depleted of red blood cells (RBCs). The number of Thy1.1+ cells was determined by their percentage of the total number of CD4+ or CD8+ cells.
