VEGF, but not shear stress, induced the Flk-1·Nckβ association. BAECs were subjected to (A) VEGF (10 ng/ml) for 5 min or (B) shear stress (12 dyn/cm²) for various time periods as indicated or kept as static control (time 0). The cell lysates were subjected to IP with an anti-Nckβ antibody, followed by IB with an anti-Flk-1 antibody (Upper) (arrow, Flk-1) or an anti-Nckβ antibody (Lower) (arrow, Nckβ). The results are representative of three separate experiments.
