All data are shown as mean ± SEM for 5-10 observations per group. ANOVA indicated that insulin concentration was influenced by maternal diet (P=0.022), the interaction of sex and age (P=0.043) and the interaction of maternal diet, age and sex (P=0.034). Glucose was influenced by age (P<0.001). Posthoc testing was performed only for univariate effects of age and maternal diet.
