The susceptibilities of log phase and stationary phase cultures of the deletion mutants ΔphoB, ΔphoR, ΔphoBR, ΔphoU, and ΔhipA and the wild type to ampicillin (Ap) (100 μg/ml) were determined. CFU values were determined at different times of exposure.
