There was no significance difference in time to first plug between transgenic males and wild type littermates (P = 0.33). Transgenic females had their litters slightly later than wild type females. Although this difference did not show up as significant (P = 0.22), there was a large variation in timing within the transgenic females from 56 to 69 days. Furthermore, two females in this study never became pregnant.
