Effect of AT1 and AT2 antagonists on the glomeruli and tubulointerstitial areas of AngII-infused rats. shows a representative Southwestern experiment of an animal from each group: control (A and E), AngII-infusion (B and F), treatment with losartan (C and G), or with PD123319 (D and H). Both treatments showed a partial diminution in NF-κB staining in the glomeruli. Treatment with losartan only diminished NF-κB staining in tubular cells (G), whereas AT2 blockade markedly diminished NF-κB-positive infiltrating interstitial cells (H).
