N = 523. CCIs were calculated for all platelet transfusions. HLAMatchmaker examined HLA compatibility at the triplet level for all donor-recipient pairs and determined the number of highly immunogenic triplet mismatches as well as the total number of triplet mismatches. Transfusions were divided into 2 groups: CCIs less than 8 or CCIs at least 8. The median number of HIMMs and TIMMs are presented, with the first and third quartile values (in parentheses). The 2 cohorts were compared using unpaired, 2-tailed Student t test. The median number of HIMMs and TIMMs are presented, with the first and third quartile values in parentheses.
