Table 1.

Effect of collagen- or VWF-coated surfaces on surface coverage, thrombus volume, and number of adherent platelets at a wall shear rate of 1250 s–1

Fibronectin (FN) and FUD, when present, were 50 μg/mL and 1 μM, respectively. The surface coverage and thrombus volume were measured from confocal microscopic images, and the number of adherent platelets was calculated by luminescence signal as described in “Materials and methods.” Values represent the mean ± SD (n = 3-5).

P < .05 compared with no fibronectin or the mixture of fibronectin and FUD.
