Expression of CD40L is shown as median and range values of experiments. To inhibit the CD62 phenotype, platelets were preincubated with rat anti-mouse CD62 antibody (10 μg/mL or 50 μg/mL) or rat IgG (at the same concentration), followed by incubation with O157LPS (diluted in autologous plasma).

NA indicates not analyzed.

*

P values evaluated by comparison of platelets from wild-type mice with those of mutated mice.

P values evaluated by comparison of resting platelets incubated with LPS or LPS and anti-CD62. Rat IgG did not block the CD62 phenotype (results not shown).

Not significant.
