Variables of the sudden inversion in the standing position. A downward course of the velocity graph indicates an increase of inversion speed; an upward course indicates a decrease of inversion speed. 1 = latency time of the peroneus longus muscle (milliseconds), 2 = total inversion time (milliseconds), 3 = maximum inversion speed (m/s), 4 = time of the first deceleration (milliseconds), 5 = time of the second deceleration (milliseconds), 6 = angular position of the first deceleration (°), and 7 = angular position of the second deceleration (°).
