Increased collagen deposition in HPS lungs in response to bleomycin challenge. Mice were challenged with intratracheal bleomycin (0.025 U) or an equal volume of sterile saline as a control. After 7 d, lungs were harvested and levels of total lung collagen were assayed using the colorimetric Sircol assay.
